Wealth Shield

There are hundreds of books about how to keep your infant children safe but very few on how to keep your money safe. Wealth Shield lays out a step by step process that makes sense, is easy to implement and has strategies to protect you against a falling US dollar. That is the problem with most US investors, they are only invested in one currency. There is no way to know which turn the financial markets will take. Will it be inflation or deflation? You have to be prepared for both. As financial advisor I felt the authors did a great job of preparing you for either outcome. Cash is not going to shield you wealth in the future. You will need a dynamic plan to do that. Wealth Shield seems to be a great blueprint to protect and profit in these uncertain times.

An Investment Strategy for All Seasons

As a professional money manager, I have read hundreds of books on investment strategies. In most books, the author tries to predict and paint a future scenario, then design a strategy based on the prediction. Unlike other books that try to predict the future, The Wealth Shield shows readers an investment strategy that works in a wide range of different economic conditions. In addition, the book is easy to read and understand, even for novices. I highly recommend this book.

Great little investment book!

This is a great little investment book, that really gets to the point, without having to wade through investment philosophy, and other “filler” you find in most investment books. I’m a young investor but I really took a hit in 2008 because I was invested entirely in stocks. I would really like to start moving my stocks into more diversified categories, and I’m anxious to start getting a handle on the wealth modules which is the nuts and bolts of the Wealth Shield. I’ll definitely be passing this investment onto my friends.

This book is sadly a waste of time and money

Don't repeat my mistake. If you're serious about passing the 70-533 exam, this book won't help.

PROS:
The book gives a reasonable break down of high and mid level topics to guide your examination preparation.

CONS:
Q&A section at the end of each chapter has several wrong answers.
Q&A sections are weak and do not reflect the actual test.
Editorial mistakes throughout. I'm not talking about little errors, but big elementary school mistakes.
Sections don't cover the right material deep enough.

SUMMARY:
This book is sadly a waste of time and money. The actual exam is filled with Powershell, case study questions, and "put execution steps in the right order." This book does almost nothing to prepare you for the test. A better exam prep would be the MeasureUp online practice exam and the real Azure documentation.

There are a TON of inconsistencies in the book and a lot of questions flat out have the wrong answers. There are even mispelled words in azure command examples. You can clearly tell the author of chapters 1 and 2 did NOT write chapter 3. The complete flow changes with inconsistent variable usage and inconsistent numbering of questions to answers. Whoever edited this book missed a LOT of stuff. Also, Question 7 for chapter 3.1 has a choice between and which is unfair because is a sub element of . The readings do not make it logical when confronted with the Thought experiments at the end of each section of a chapter. And ANY Exam that makes you memorize all the different sizes of VMs available in order to know what is the best fit is not really checking your knowledge of the platform. Any normal human being would just look at what is available when making that choice without having to Memorize all the different sizes from Free to Premier. Example Question: A worker role requires at least 3 cores, 48 GB of memory and local resource storage of 500 GB. Which instance size would meet this. Most people would look this up or query it in PowerShell. They certainly wouldn't have to remember it.

Helped me pass with flying colors

If this textbook is required for your American Government class, rent the download copy for a HUGE savings. I started the semester viewing it on my laptop and ended reading it on my new HP Slate tablet. It can only be viewed with Kindle for PC app which is compatible with a tablet as well as a desktop or laptop. Lots of interactive features and added content to reinforce the concepts. I was not required to buy the digital key to the online features.

Readers first encounter Budgie in Budgie the Little Helicopter . He has a broad grin and freckles, wears the brim of his hat turned up and works very hard, but has to have a thorough scrub-down after ferrying lobsters. In his first adventure, as recorded by the Duchess, Budgie volunteers to accompany pretty Pippa the Piper (Piper: a make of aircraft) on her maiden flight. As Pippa loops and swoops through the skies, Budgie keeps an eye on the weather. A thunderstorm hits just when Budgie and Pippa are off to rescue a kidnapped girl. They follow the kidnappers' car, and Budgie manages to land nearby and save her, while Pippa goes for help. These bold tactics result in the arrest of the villains, but Budgie, though feted as a hero, has to have another scrub. After another dashing rescue, in Budgie at Bendick's Point (this time over the sea), the modest young whirlybird gets to lead the flypast at the airshow in recognition of his heroism. These jolly stories, ideal for reading aloud, have the perfect complement in Richardson's colorful, bouncy pictures. There's plenty of cheery, almost nostalgic appeal in these anthropomorphized aircraft whose hearts are in the right places. Ages 3-6.

My Granddaughter received this book for Christmas two years ago when she was two. She still enjoys hearing the stories about Budgie. It is a throughly enjoyable book for children. The video is great too. Wish there were more of them.

Budgie is enlightening

Budgie: The Little Helicopter is wonderfully illustrated and catches the child's eye with all it's bright colors. The story is intriguing and my two children, 5 & 6 at the time (now 7 & 8) were totally absorbed by it. My son slept with the book for weeks.

Kidnapping theme?

We bought this book because my son is in love with helicopters, and he likes it.. for the helicopters. I don't like the kidnapping them. Basing a book for young children around it is distasteful. There is some strange innuendo between Budgie and Pippa. There seems to be something a little off or weird about the Budgie stories I can't quite put my finger on. I just know that I really do not enjoy reading them to my son.

They Never Taught *That* In My Ministry Class

One of my ministry teachers used to tell us stories about what happens the *other* 164 hours a week: the phone calls and office visits. I wish we had read this book along with everything else, because it listed a few things that still weren't covered in class. It's an eye opener about some tough situations and some good advice on how to deal with them.
