About the Author
ANTOINE DE SAINT-EXUP�RY, the "Winged Poet," was born in Lyon, France, in 1900.�A pilot at twenty-six, he was a pioneer of commercial aviation and flew in the Spanish Civil War and World War II. His writings include The Little Prince, Wind, Sand and Stars, Night Flight, Southern Mail, and Airman's Odyssey. In 1944, while flying a reconnaissance mission for his French air squadron, he disappeared over the Mediterranean.

Quality Hardcover Book with Nice Artwork

I purchased this book as a gift for my husband. He LOVES it! It's a classic children's book that the entire family will enjoy. There are MANY versions/translations available, but I opted for this unabridged version which is best suited for older children and adults. The book has a large, hardcover, thick pages, and nice artwork. It's very well put together. If you're unable to read the original work in French, this is a good alternative. Recommended.

Interesting artwork but not as good as the original. Not the best translation.

Interesting artwork but terrible translation. I prefer the original artwork and the Katherine Woods translation. Don't buy this if that's what you are expecting.

Great new edition of a all time favorite story

This a beautiful edition of one of my all time favorite story! The images from the new movie, together with the original drawing by Saint-Exupery, makes this a good addition to my collection of the Little Prince editions.
